I’m Chef Alex, an immigrant from Ukraine with over 15 years of culinary experience and a profound passion for the art of cooking. My journey began with inspiration from my grandmother’s recipes and early experiences in pizzerias, which led me to formal culinary training. My career began to flourish in renowned establishments such as David Bouley’s Danube and Nobu 57, where I truly honed my craft.
A severe car accident posed a significant challenge early in my career, but I emerged from recovery with renewed determination. At age 22, I transitioned into the world of private dining, driven by a commitment to creating exceptional, personalized culinary experiences. And more than a decade later, my passion remains as intense as ever.
